On Friday, January 15, our team is holding the 7th event in our series of investment seminars.

The topics presented this time are nano technology and solar energy, with industry experts providing insights before investment-seeking Korean SMEs deliver IR presentations.

‘Solar Energy Value Chain and Vision’

Presented by Kenny Kim, VP, Solar & Energy (Displaybank)

Presenter Mr. Kim worked for Samsung SDI before co-founding Displaybank in 1990. During his career, he has provided consulting for the Carlyle Group; Dupont; Corning; and 3M.

‘Nano tech Value Chain  and Vision’

Presented by Dr. Lee Jo-won, Director, The National Program for Tera-level Nanodevices

Presenter Dr. Lee holds an M.S. and Ph.D in metals science from Pennsylvania State University. Over his career he has authored and co-authored 84 papers/proceedings and holds 35 patents, he was listed in ‘Who’s Who in the World’ (1994/1995 edition).

The National Program for Tera-level Nanodevices was launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2000, aiming to develop ultra fast, highly integrated, and ultra low-power nano devices. For more information see www.nanotech.re.kr.
