Entekhab Industrial plans to list Daewoo Electronics

Entekhab Industrial, an Iran-based appliance maker, is planning to list Daewoo Electronics within three years after it acquires it, reported the Korea Economic Daily.

Daewoo Electronics is a South Korean appliance maker, with which Entekhab is in acquisition talks.

The report cited an unspecified insider at Entekhab Industrial as saying that it would also conduct a capital reduction in October in order to improve its financial structure after it acquires Daewoo.

The source was cited as saying that it would neither change the company name nor restructure the organization at Daewoo.

Creditors of Daewoo Electronics were reportedly going to finalize the sale of the South Korean appliance maker to Entekhab Industrial as early as next week.

According to an earlier report, the deal value could be valued at about KRW 500bn (USD 419m).
