Entekhab Industrial will propose a final offer for Daewoo Electronics, the unlisted South Korean electronic appliance maker, soon, reported Maeil Business.
The report cited the Iran-based household appliances maker as saying that the negotiations with the advisor of the selling-side are going smoothly now and the company will propose a final offer around 28 July.
The company added that the offer would be close to the initial offer of KRW 605bn (USD 503m). Entekhab is expecting to close the deal within two months, the report added.
As previously reported, Entekhab Industrial was selected as the preferred bidder for Daewoo Electronics.
It was reported last week that a potential pricing gap could derail the sale.
