Hynix Update: Strategic investor clause to be added

Hynix Semiconductor will seek to amend its corporate articles to allow a new share issuance to a strategic investor, reported Asia Economy.

The report, which cited information released by the South Korean chipmaker, said the company will propose the amendment at its AGM scheduled for 26 March.

Hynix is planning to add a “strategic investor” clause to corporate article 10-2-6, which defines the nature of the parties that are allowed to take over new shares through a third party placement.
